Question 1

How does the WhatsApp connection work?

Accepted Answer

You link your WhatsApp Business number from inside the LeadPilot dashboard — it takes a few minutes and uses the official WhatsApp Business Platform, so your number stays safe and compliant. Once connected, LeadPilot reads incoming messages and replies automatically, using what you taught it about your business.

Question 2

Does it replace my team?

Accepted Answer

No — it removes the repetitive work. LeadPilot handles greetings, FAQs, qualifying questions and follow-ups. Your team steps in only for the serious, qualified conversations — and can take over any chat at any moment.

Question 3

What if the AI doesn't know an answer?

Accepted Answer

It won't make things up. When a question is outside what you taught it, LeadPilot says so honestly and hands the conversation to you or your team, with the full chat history attached.

Question 4

Can I take over a chat?

Accepted Answer

Yes, anytime. One tap pauses LeadPilot on that conversation and you reply yourself. LeadPilot watches quietly and resumes only when you hand it back — nothing is ever sent without your control.

Question 5

What happens when a lead opts out?

Accepted Answer

LeadPilot listens for opt-out messages ("stop", "unsubscribe", and similar). It stops all automated follow-ups to that person immediately and marks them as opted out. They are never messaged again unless they start a conversation themselves.

Question 6

How much does WhatsApp cost?

Accepted Answer

Meta charges conversation-based pricing for WhatsApp Business messages — this is set by Meta and goes directly to them. LeadPilot does not mark it up, and your plan covers the AI, dashboard and all features; WhatsApp conversation fees are billed separately at Meta's rates.
